At the age of 13 Pete came home with his first record player from a jumble sale and has never looked back...

Hooked on the emerging sounds of Hip Hop in the 1980’s, Pete grew to love the sounds of Soul, Funk, Disco, Jazz, House, Techno, Reggae, Rave and Jungle too. At the core of this passion for music was the vinyl record, visibly an art piece in itself, even before the sounds that come from putting the needle to the groove. 

Fast forward 30 years and passion is just as strong, if not stronger, for vinyl and the way music can take the listener to a place of unity, love and having fun. Pete has DJ’d in hundreds of venues around the world, and still does, from small basements and house parties, to nightclubs and world famous festivals. He runs his own club nights, an online record store and label, and also presents two radio shows. 

Now a family man with young children he’s paused a little and thinks it’s time to pass that knowledge on - to share with others the skills and passion for being a DJ, and the joy it can bring to your life.
